Getting Through the Holidays

How do I intend to get through the holidays?  Substitute with shakes and bars when possible.  Move more.  Say NO when I can and don't say YES to avoid hurting feelings.  I'm not one of those folks that will substitute healthy recipes for old standbys.  I am choosing to continue to enjoy those while learning portion control.  Real mashed potatoes aren't the same made with chicken broth.  But I don't need to take a heaping portion.  Twice.  Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

Where am I at 6 months later

I have no idea.  Have worked out twice in the last 2 months.  I have the grab and go shakes and bars, but haven't used a blender.  I feel much better when I grab those to eat than I do when I make a drive thru run.  Yet, I still make those runs.  Need to conquer emotional eating, but those quickie items are going to get me through the holidays.  One day soon I'll be somewhere where I can get on a scale and see, but my clothes are about the same.
